Day 102
First of all, today is Easter. It's weird spending holidays away from family. I mean, I've spent Easter away from my parents before but this year Easter felt odd and out of place. My boyfriend and I went to lunch with his parents and then to dinner with his whole family. We went to the Oceanarium in Waikiki for their dinner buffet. It was okay, I tried a little of everything but I still managed to not over eat. Although, the sweets were definitely getting the best of me! I'm a sucker for some chocolate, haha. I couldn't pick from these two pictures so I'm going to post both. Tonight I took the time to watch a documentary, "Born Into Brothels." It was really interesting to me because I am 1) interested in photography and 2) concerned about the rights of children around the world. It's strange to see how children live their lives and for the most part, seem happy. A friend told me she didn't like it cause it was overrated. I don't know, I just feel that the issues that children are facing around the world aren't overrated. Maybe I don't understand because I don't have a background in creating documentaries. Anyway, I am listening to Jenny Lewis' Acid Tongue. I haven't really taken the time to listen to this CD (only certain songs) because my first run through kind of disappointed me but after hearing it live, I have a new appreciation for it. Long live Acid Tongue!

we missed you too on Easter! we didn't do much except go to church and then to brunch at MCRD. ate too much and felt lethargic the rest of the day.

i love brunch food though - i definitely would have blown my diet! haha dinner buffets are kinda weak. anyway, i missed you guys too! it just didn't feel like easter, maybe it's because i didn't get to buy myself an easter dress? lol jk
I so look forward to your pictures every day, only you don't post every day. How annoying! lol Wait, I don't either! :) Miss you!
