Day 223
No rain today. Just a few scattered showers. The hurricane has turned into a tropical storm and now it's just some rain. The whole island chain was worrying for nothing. Anyway, tonight I was contemplating baking banana muffins but when I went to gather all my ingredients I realized I didn't have baking soda. I looked for ways to replace baking soda but most people suggest using baking powder or not replacing it. My boyfriend had to buy baking soda for me and by the time he came home it was too late for me to bake. My plan is to wake up bright and early tomorrow morning. I think I'll enjoy the smell of baked goods in the morning and it's incentive for me to wake up early. This morning I woke up at 6:50am. Tomorrow morning I hope to wake up at 6:15am. Good luck to me!
